Biography
Born in Detroit and raised through the Southern rap movement in Houston and the Dallas–Fort Worth scene, Twisted Black (aka 145) built his name as one-half of the legendary rap duo One Gud Cide. Known for his raw storytelling and authentic street narratives, Twisted Black earned a loyal fanbase with the group's underground success and cult-classic releases throughout the late '90s.
After serving a 17-year prison sentence, Twisted Black returned stronger than ever — releasing new music, rebuilding his brand, and continuing to influence the next generation of artists. He later teamed up with Shaquille O'Neal for the collaboration "Knock Knock," expanding his reach beyond hip-hop and into mainstream culture.
Today, Twisted Black remains a respected voice in Southern rap, while also helping open doors and create opportunities for emerging artists throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth music scene.
